Originally from Owego, NY; Dr. Tim spent his childhood fascinated with animals and the outdoors. Dr. Tim attended SUNY-Delhi where he earned a degree in Veterinary Technology. After Delhi, he attended Cornell University where he earned a degree in Animal Science. During his undergraduate studies, Dr. Tim gained additional veterinary experience by working as a veterinary technician at Cornell’s Companion Animal Hospital Intensive Care Unit and volunteered at spay/neuter clinics. He also worked as an animal behavior intern for the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, MD and spent several years working with zoos and conservation programs around the country.
After graduating from Cornell, Dr. Tim took some time away from pursing his dream of becoming a veterinarian. He took a job as the Keeper Supervisor of the Trevor Zoo at the Millbrook School in Millbrook, NY . There he spent several years working with the zoo before transitioning to the teaching world where he taught high school physics and coached basketball, tennis and ultimate frisbee.
After spending a few years outside of the animal world, Dr. Tim finally decided to attend veterinary school. Looking for an adventure and to do some travelling he attended Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine and completed his clinical rotations at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge.
After graduating from Vet School, Dr. Tim took a job at Jockeyport in Afton, and has been in the area ever since.

Life outside the office:
On the rare occasion that Dr. Tim isn’t in the office or at the zoo, he enjoys spending time with his wife and 3 kids. Dr. Tim also enjoys gardening, raising chickens and all the culinary arts. Dr. Tim is an accomplished wine and beer maker as well.
