Dr. Ebert was born and raised in Lakewood, PA on a small farm where she raised sheep, chickens, pigs and turkeys. The family also had horses and ponies. This is where she developed her desire to care for animals. Through high school she was involved in 4H showing market lambs and horses. After high school she attended The University of Scranton and earned her bachelors in Biology and masters in Biochemistry. Dr. Ebert worked at a small animal emergency and surgery center for about two years before attending veterinary school at St. Matthew’s University in Grand Cayman, and completing her clinical year at the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Ebert has been working in Afton, NY since 2009. She enjoys surgery, internal medicine and equine medicine.
Dr. Ebert’s interests outside of work include training and showing horses in jumpers, which she has been doing for over 20 years. She also enjoys the outdoors and scuba diving.
